AAU Art & Design Supply

For the Academy of Art University online art supply shop, we supervised the initial website production and oversaw operations and merchandising, marketing, UX/UI design, customer service, reporting, analytics and online catalog operations for 46,000 items on a SaaS e-commerce platform for this start-up.

For AAU, Carlene led the product management team, web development, web design, site launch, merchandising, customer service and marketing of an ecommerce business. This meant cross-functional team collaboration with all departments of the University and working closely with art supply manufacturers and distributors. The online shop launched to triple projected sales expectations.

 

Re-Branding

Carlene was asked to help lead an overhaul of the University’s digital brand and content marketing strategy. This included, an email newsletter strategy, blogging, website overhaul, UX/UI design brand cohesion, brand voice definition, social media listening and engagement.

 

MarTech and AAU Strategy

Carlene lead the MarTech product management team with the implementation of the Adobe Experience Manager for website production and the Salesforce Marketing Cloud for Social Media listening and engagement.
