Ecommerce – SEO, UX, A/B Testing
Stormcrow Digital worked with Zenni Optical and doubled the conversion rate by improving SEO, site product categorization, and the order and check-out process. We collaborated to establish responsive front-end coding for this $100 million a year ecommerce company.
Zenni initially brought us onboard to improve their SEO. We did a website SEO triage and determined that they needed to overhaul the site’s front-end code, adopt SEO best-practices as recommended by Google, implement schema.org microdata, implement alt tags, streamline the customer journey and adopt a mobile first design strategy. The results were dramatic, their ecommerce website went from a page 7 ranking to the top of page 1 organic ranking for the term “eyeglasses.”
Customer Journey Optimization
Carlene worked with the Zenni Optical marketing, design and development teams to create personas and to streamline the customer check-out and product search. The effectiveness of the changes were measured with A/B testing and analytics. The results were a doubled conversion rate and a shorter time to purchase.
